Today, the mass wedding for 100 Nanjing couples was held on Xuanwu Lake's
Cui islets.
As one of the main events of the Famous Cities Expo,
after news of the 100 couple mass wedding event came out, couples preparing to
get married actively pursued joining the event, and in only two short weeks
registrations to partake in the event were all filled. In the several days of
preparations, the magnificent wedding ceremony was finally held
today.
According to our understanding, today at noon, the newlyweds
and their relatives will hold a 1,000 person banquet at Nanjing's Hilton
International Hotel, and will attend the Carnival festival in the afternoon. In
the evening each couple will enjoy a candlelit dinner for two at the Hilton's
caf└.
